In spite of the experiences acquired from various disciplines that have multiplied since the mankind began to wonder about his nature and environment, we notice that the pure and simple continuation of the researches to date often leave us powerless when confronted by the reality. So much so that we sometimes even find ourselves in a dead end. Obviously we are not going to deny our experiences, but it is time that researchers and scholars of all disciplines and backgrounds reexamine their methods and point of view in order to come up with a coherent theory of our nature and environment. Such is the objective of the GI-TASS since its creation in 1975.
